Arrange-A-Room-oholic

I know, I know, I promised pictures of my bed slats, but I've been busy with other stuff and lazy with this.
The good thing about having medical bills to pay is that they force you to not spend money on anything else. Which means I am not buying anything until I sell my dining table. It could happen this weekend though, if a certain CL user does in fact show up.

Anyway, I thought I'd share this link: http://arrangearoom.bhg.com/arrangearoom/
It's by Better Homes & Gardens, a magazine I don't particularly feel drawn to. But this feature is quite addictive and a lot more fun than just drawing sketches. Plus, you save paper. The application allows you to choose your room configuration and you just adjust the measurements and then start filling the room with furniture you drag from the left column. You can also adjust the size of those pieces of furniture. It's addictive.

i'm too afraid to check out that link... the last thing i need is another way to procrastinate. but i wanted to tell you i thought of you today when i posted three (three!) ads on CL, two for someone to sublet my apartment or outright lease it for a year and one for a yard sale i'm having this weekend.

so far i've gotten five calls on the apartment (in just three hours of posting!) but all but one sounded like ski-bumming pot-heads (one guy asked me four times in a five-minute conversation if the place was furnished... after the fourth time, I said "well, it's not furnished now but if you bring your things and put them inside, it will be furnished." he didn't ask again, though I couldn't tell if he was irked or just finally understood.

anyway, maybe soon i'll have my own CL horror stories to share!

LOL. You're funny. I hope your CL experience is better than mine.
I'm starting to wonder if people just troll the listings to see whom they can mess with.
Good luck!

We have the whole Better Homes and Gardens build a house software kit. It's pretty fun, and you can do a virtual walkthrough in 3-D....
